Margaret and Tosin Jump The Broom at Wild Roots St. Pete

July 12, 2021

Margaret and Tosin were all about style and tradition making it very exciting for us to plan their dream elopement. With the added beautiful and rich tradition in which the couple literally jumped the broom to seal their union, Margaret and Tosin’s day was filled with love and bliss.

WHAT WORDS WOULD YOU USE TO DESCRIBE YOUR WEDDING?

Love-Filled, Exquisite, Singular

THE PROPOSAL:

Tosin proposed at home on a Sunday morning just before we headed out to church. It was intimate, simple and so sweet.

THE VISION:

Bohemian-chic (with a hint of classic romance) brought to life with lots of plants and flowers to symbolize life, growth and prosperity.

THE PLANNING PROCESS:

I knew that I didn’t want to stress too much about the planning process. I researched Elope Tampa Bay quite a bit before reaching out, so I came into things knowing that I was in great hands. It was a very seamless process and the team was always accessible for questions and updates. We fully trusted them to make our day blissful and memorable, and they exceeded our wildest dreams!

MEMORABLE MOMENTS

Besides exchanging our vows, the first look, jumping the broom and our first dance are major highlights for us. We also loved the champagne toast and cake cutting moments. So, pretty much everything! LOL

YOUR OUTFITS AND ACCESSORIES

Margaret: My godmother purchased my wedding dress as a gift. I found my gorgeous dress at Lily’s Bridal Outlet. After shopping around online and visiting a few other bridal boutiques, I found myself in Orlando with my mom trying on dresses. I knew that I wanted an ivory, form-fitting dress with lace detail that was modern yet classic. I had the most amazing stylist who pulled my gorgeous Sottero and Midgley dress. I had no doubts that it was made for me. My favorite details of the dress are the beaded belt, the illusion neckline/back and pearl buttons down the back.I wore Betsey Johnson rhinestone and satin pumps. The only jewelry that I wore was a pair of pearl earrings that my mom gifted me. I found my veil and hair accessory on Amazon.

Tosin: I got my suit and shoes online. I originally found a solid blue suit from the website but decided to shop around a bit more. Once I found this 3-piece suit, I immediately liked the color and print. It fit perfectly so I didn’t even have to get it altered.
